About - PPA Buddy
Built for real classrooms, not perfect ones.

I’m Claire, I help teachers leave work at school, without lowering their standards.

I didn’t start in teaching. I started in high-stakes product design, where deadlines moved, expectations shifted, and you had to stay calm and still deliver.

That world taught me how to build workflows that hold under pressure, and how to protect time without becoming “difficult”.

Then I stepped into the classroom and saw the same pressure, but with a bigger cost. Brilliant teachers doing the job twice. Once in school, then again at home. Planning at night. Marking on Sundays. Living like it was normal.

PPA Buddy is what I built to change that. Practical support for planning, feedback, and workload decisions, so you can do a great job and still have a life.

My journey: The moment I realised teaching doesn’t just fill your timetable, it follows you home

There was a point where I stopped feeling like a person with a job, and started feeling like a person who is always catching up.

You’ll know the signs. The “quick email” that turns into twenty minutes. The Sunday check that steals your mood. The constant low-level guilt that you should be doing more, even when you’ve already given everything.

I built PPA Buddy because I needed something sturdier than willpower. A way of working that helps you finish the essentials in school time and stop the extra requests becoming your new normal.

Inside PPA Buddy (Skool), you’ll get:

  • AI workflows that speed up planning and feedback, with your judgement at the centre.
  • Simple systems for triage, admin and boundaries, so small tasks don’t multiply.
  • Scripts and routines you can use immediately, without feeling awkward or confrontational.

Not perfection. Not hustle. Just a quieter week, and more evenings that feel like yours again.

If this felt familiar, you’ll fit right in.

A calm corner of the internet for UK teachers who want to leave work at school, without lowering their standards.
