Your phone policy is about to be watertight. It still won’t catch this.
From September most of us are phone free by default. We’ve done the pouches, the lanyards, the script for when a Year 8 swears it’s in their bag.
Meanwhile there’s a recorder on sale for about a hundred pounds that sticks to the back of a phone, runs for four days and starts recording with one button. The ad for it lists “your class” as a use case, eight seconds in. The child in it says he’s ten. His teacher doesn’t know what he’s up to.
A rule that names specific devices will always be one launch behind. So this pack doesn’t name any.
